Jill Fuster, MS, RD, LDN

Jill Jill Fuster provides individualized nutrition care for children, adolescents and adults who struggle with eating disorders and other nutrition-related problems. She meets with patients in-person and virtually. Jill studied Applied Nutrition and Exercise Science at Penn State University, worked at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, and completed a joint masters’ degree program and a dietetic internship at the Tufts School of Nutrition Science and Policy and the Frances Stern Nutrition Center, respectfully. Then she worked at Children’s National Medical Center for 5 years providing nutrition services for patients with HIV/AIDS, Eating Disorders, Cystic Fibrosis and other medical problems. 

Jill began a nutrition counseling private practice in 2000 and continues to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for patients living in D.C, Maryland and Virginia. She understands and utilizes principles of mindfulness, intuitive eating, Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help her patients. She enjoys working in collaboration with therapists here at The Eating Disorders Center of Potomac Valley as well as therapists and other health care providers who practice in the DMV.

In addition to individual work, Jill has successfully lead meal and educational groups in the past and plans to initiate new groups and classes in the near future. Currently, she is a member of the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
