Diane L. Scheininger, LCSW-C, ACSW

Ms. Scheininger is a licensed clinical social worker who has practiced psychotherapy in the Washington, D.C. area since 1981. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and received Masters degrees from Boston University and the University of Maryland. She acquired expertise in the area of eating disorders and weight management while working at the Georgetown University Medical Center Eating Disorders Clinic. Her offices are located in Rockville, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Ms. Scheininger maintains a general private practice for adults and adolescents and sees clients who present with a wide range of issues. She has a particular interest in relationship issues, eating disorders, parenting concerns, and mood disorders and has led workshops for parents of college-bound LD/ADHD students. In addition, she obtained a Certificate in Organization Development from Georgetown University and served as a consultant to several local companies.

Ms. Ms. Scheininger is a member of NASW, The Greater Washington Society for Clinical Social Work, The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and The Washington Society for the Study of Eating Disorders. She has presented lectures on a range of topics at area schools, colleges, and community centers.
